Meet our Store Leader, Colin! Having been with H&B since 2025, working in Calgary; we asked him to share what it’s like to be part of our team.  What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started?   I joined H&B in 2025 with a desire to start a career with a company with meaning and community impact. My role has transformed into the person creating that community impact and deeper meaning!  What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?   The opportunity to collaborate with other members of the company, and share insights, feedback and instill both personal growth as well as growth in my own leadership!  What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?     The two p's - People and Product; It is truly a blessing to work alongside such hardworking, creative, and friendly people. The one team spirit truly is embodied throughout the company, and the amount of growth I have had in a year at H&B as a leader and a person has truly been the biggest gift I could have received. Naturally I LOVE our product; every piece feels intentional, inspiring, and truly special, I am proud to say I am one of our best clients!  What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?    Think about what fills your cup, and how that can translate into your career. For me, I always wanted to find a job that allowed me to help people, and H&B provides this amazing platform where we truly get to give back, and support folks!  What is your favourite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?    Any time the retail leaders get to do workshops together, there is something that gets created when we are all together that just creates this dazzling energy filled with inspiration, creativity, and fun! It always gives me the most beautiful reminder that I am exactly where I need to be!

Meet Jacqueline from our Client Care team! Since joining H&B in 2025, she has been a vital member of our Client Care and Distribution Centre teams. We asked Jacquline to share her experience since joining the team.   What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started?  I had a great experience with Hillberg & Berk in 2024 after doing a Build Your Own Bracelet experience at the Flagship store — the positive energy and environment really stood out to me. After relocating to Saskatchewan and preparing to return to work after having a child, I explored job opportunities online and joined shortly after as seasonal support in the Distribution Centre. In early 2025, I transitioned into Client Care, where I’m still happily working today.  What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?  Working in Client Care has been a great learning experience and has helped me grow my confidence, communication, and technology skills. I’ve also enjoyed helping with the outlet sale, supporting the Distribution Centre when needed, and picking up a few retail shifts. Getting to try different roles has helped me learn more about the company and where I shine.  What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?  The people and the culture, hands down. From day one, I felt welcomed, supported, and encouraged to be myself. It’s a team that values connection, positivity, and making everyone feel included.  What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?  Be open to learning and say yes to new opportunities. Hillberg & Berk supports growth, flexibility, and work-life balance, which makes it a great place to build your career. If you’re looking for a positive environment with amazing people, this is it.  What is your favorite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?  One of my favorite moments has been realizing how much confidence I gained after returning to work. Meet Kelsey, Vice President of Client Experience at H&B. Since 2015, Kelsey has played a key role in our Retail and Commercial teams. We caught up with her to hear about life at H&B.  What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started?  When I joined Hillberg & Berk in 2015, what originally drew me in was the people. I had met a few team members while shopping at West Edmonton Mall, and right away I could tell this was an environment I wanted to be part of — empowering, encouraging, and truly supportive. I was excited by how much internal growth was happening within the business, and that ultimately made my decision to join an easy one.  I started as a Store Leader, and over the years I’ve grown into roles including District Manager, Manager of Retail, Director of Retail & Wholesale, and now VP of Client Experience, where I oversee the end to end client experience, brand, marketing, and visual store experience. It’s been incredibly rewarding to grow alongside the company.  What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?  I’ve been given countless opportunities to grow at Hillberg & Berk. Right from the start, I was supported through leadership development, including leadership courses, purpose-driven and community connection events, and learning opportunities outside of the store. Those experiences made a huge impact on my growth and gave me the confidence to take on new challenges as my role evolved.  What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?  For me, it’s the people. I get to work with a values-aligned team that inspires me every day. When I look back at some of the most challenging times while growing the business, I can honestly say it’s been a pleasure walking through it alongside this team — growing ourselves and the brand together.  What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?  Be open, be curious, and get excited — because no two days are the same. The opportunity to join a business like Hillberg & Berk is incredibly rare, and I feel so lucky to be part of it. If you’re someone who loves growth, purpose, and being part of something meaningful, you’ll thrive here.  What is your favorite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?  There are too many to count — but my first store opening will always stand out. We had no idea what to expect, and over 300 people showed up, wrapping around the entire mall! Beyond that, every new market and every new store we open holds a special place in my story and in my heart. Being part of sharing the brand and our story with new people is truly unbeatable.

Meet Emily, our Creative Director. She has been with H&B since 2011, working across our Retail and Creative teams. We asked Emily to share what it’s like to be part of our team.  What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started? Include year you joined H&B in your response   I joined H&B in 2011 and was introduced to Rachel and the brand at an event. The woman hosting the event later let me know they were hiring for the Flagship store. I was freshly out of university and was looking for a part-time job. I have always been interested in fashion & brands, and this seemed like a unique opportunity to explore especially in Saskatchewan. Fast forward 14 years and I currently work on the commercial team as the Creative Director. I've been lucky enough to experience a variety of roles throughout my career at H&B including sales, visual merchandising, styling, campaign planning, marketing and events.   What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?    The biggest impact is the work that goes into finding the right role for people based on their talents and experience. The trust that was given to me early on and throughout my career to explore what I am passionate about and what I excel in has definitely had the most powerful influence on my growth.   What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?     The people. I feel so incredibly grateful to have met and worked with so many wonderful women. The relationships I've built throughout my career at H&B are some of my most valued. It's such a privilege to do this work and make women feel better about themselves.    What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?   H&B is purpose-driven, collaborative, ever-changing environment and having fresh perspectives come into the business with new ideas is so valuable. If you are looking for personal & professional growth, care about purpose and people and are comfortable in a fast-paced environment then I'd say go for it!  What is your favorite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?    I have so many, but the most special are the experiences that have come with partnering with amazing women to be the face of our campaigns.    My first campaign shoot in Cancun with an underwater photographer featuring our incredible face Bri Urzada who is a model, artist and cancer survivor. Collaborating with Tessa Virtue on a campaign and collection. Our first partnership with Ashley Callingbull and travelling all around Canada's finest landscapes to capture the photos. Most recently our partnership with Team Canada and Maïa Schwinghammer has been a wonderful collaboration and a lovely thing to experience.  I also must mention the moment we found out Queen Elizabeth wore the brooch we designed her for the first time. I will never forget being on the second floor of the Flagship house celebrating with our small team at the time.

Meet Cheyene, Regional Manager for our retail teams across Saskatchewan and Ontario. Since 2016, Cheyene has played a key role in our Retail teams across Canada. We caught up with her to hear about life at H&B.  What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started? When I started at H&B in 2016, I was inspired to join because of the brands values and mission. I knew that I wanted to be in a space that focused on helping women grow and I was incredibly grateful to have found a family at H&B. I started as a part time Client Ambassador and quickly became full time within 6 months of joining. In 2018, I took on the role of Store Leader at West Edmonton Mall and then worked my way up to the Regional Manager position that I hold today  What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?   I was given many opportunities to network with the incredible people that work in all areas of H&B and also people in the jewellery and retail industry. Because of how H&B welcomes new people into the business, I was able to learn from incredible leaders and was able to make a big move to Toronto as Regional Manager due to so much support and guidance.  What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?    I enjoy the people I work with the most. We are all here for a collective goal which means we are all working towards the same thing - bringing the brand to life for our clients. I always feel heard and seen no matter who I am talking to. The values that you see on the outside are the exact values that we live inside H&B.  What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?   Don't be scared to raise your hand!! When you lean into the unknown, the growth that you find on the other side is extremely rewarding.  What is your favorite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?    There are too many favourite memories for me to pick one! I would say the most eye opening memory for me was when I attended an event for The School of Business in Edmonton. A few of us leaders attended the event and were given name tags with our names and the title of our current position. Students then came up to ask for insight on topics they were curious about (How to ensure engagement on our team, how to schedule properly...etc). That was the moment I realized how proud I was to be in my role at H&B and felt so honoured to be someone that people can look up to and learn from.

Meet Beth, Store Leader in our Alberta Region. She has been with H&B since 2024, working across the city of Edmonton. We asked Beth to share what it’s like to be part of our team.  What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started? I joined H&B as a seasonal for the 2024 holiday season! My good friend was working for the company at the time and had amazing things to say about the company culture and values. Not to mention, the pieces are beautiful! Once I was asked to stay on as a permanent team member, I quickly transitioned into the Assistant Store Leader role and then moved into my current role as a Store Leader a couple months later!  What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?   The fact I've been able to move into so many roles has had the biggest impact on my professional growth. The company is tight knit and I have received so much support & recognition from my own leader & beyond! I feel incredibly safe within the company to make mistakes and put my hand up for opportunities that are outside of my comfort zone which has been integral to my growth.  What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?    I've enjoyed the people the most! Regardless of role or location, everyone is supportive of one another. There is so much heart within the company! H&B prioritizes connection; I appreciate the ability & opportunity to travel in order to connect with everyone!  What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?   Just be open-minded to new opportunities & approach it with a growth mindset. There is so much to learn & so many new opportunities within H&B as we rapidly grow!  What is your favorite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?    My favourite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk was getting tickets and attending one of the playoff games for the Oilers because of our collaboration with them!

What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started? I was inspired to join Hillberg & Berk because I needed a change, and I wanted to be a part of something bigger. Coming back to H&B felt like coming home again, the purpose and passion behind the brand, and how much everyone truly acts like a team. I feel like I belong here, like being part of the team is a place you're supposed to be.   What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?  Being part of the growth and expansion at Hillberg & Berk has had the biggest impact on me, the ability to learn and grow from the team while we expand the business feels both empowering and rewarding. You get to form relationships with everyone involved, and work on a large team, all with the same goal.   What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?  The sense of community you have working at Hillberg & Berk and the people that work here. Everyone on the team is focused on your growth and development, you really feel like you belong no matter what department you're in. Every day, you get to work with people who are truly aligned to your thoughts, feelings, emotions, and opinions. I am surrounded by people who uplift and support me, who are my biggest cheerleaders, and who all truly believe in the brand. It's a beautiful place to work.   What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?  To come in being yourself, be enthusiastic, lead with passion.   What is your favourite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?  My favourite memory with H&B was in my first week, in my first week I was able to meet my team in person, and we went around touring the stores. It was so great to not only get to meet my team, but also go and see all of the beautiful stores. We all got to spend time together, and see the product and the teams in store.

Meet Amy! Since joining H&B in 2015, she has grown through our retail teams all the way to her current role as Director of Marketing. We asked Amy to share her experience along the way.  What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started? I joined H&B in 2015, working in retail at the Cornwall Centre in Regina, and haven't looked back since! The reasons I joined the team are very much the reasons I choose to stay—which I think is an amazing thing to be able to say. I was looking for the opportunity to support something deeper and to connect with a community of like-minded individuals who also saw the potential of businesses that do good. Now, working as the Director of Marketing, I know that the person I was in 2015 would be so proud of the work I’ve had the privilege of shaping in my current role.   What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?   I am so grateful to H&B for defining the really formative years of my career, including my leadership journey. Though it’s not something I previously thought I had the confidence for, I’ve been a people leader for several years now and have discovered it to be one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done.   What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?    As much as it sounds cliche, the people at H&B are truly my favourite part! This is where I've met some of my most impactful mentors, friends, and peers. I believe there’s so much power in strong female role models, and this is where I found mine.  What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?   My advice for someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk is first and foremost—do it!! It's such a unique opportunity to be part of a team with our ability to effect change, shape decisions, and build a global brand. Second to that, I would say to ‘say yes.’ In a growing and entrepreneurial environment, there will always be space for putting your hand up for unexpected opportunities and this is where my most valuable learning has happened.  What is your favorite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?    One H&B memory that really stands out for me is being able to recognize a group of oncology nurses with Sparkle in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Their reactions were incredible and really reflected why I love this work so much. For me, H&B has represented everything from confidence and growth to perseverance and grit, but the feeling of community is what I'm most grateful for.

Introducing Virginia, who has been with H&B since 2015. Beginning her career on the floor of our Cornwall location, Virginia has explored different areas and grown into strong product and commercial and product team leader. Here’s a look at her journey with us.  What inspired you to join Hillberg & Berk, and how has your role evolved since you started?  I joined Hillberg & Berk in 2016 after a friend who worked here encouraged me to apply for a role on the retail team. Once I started, I immediately saw how much opportunity there was within the company to grow and evolve. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to experience a wide range of roles across the organization.  I began in one of our retail stores, moved into our Client Care department, supported Retail Operations, helped open new stores, and later joined our Product team.  What opportunities or experiences at Hillberg & Berk have had the biggest impact on your professional growth?   Some of the most impactful opportunities at Hillberg & Berk have come from the chance to explore different areas of the business and take on new challenges as they arise. Being trusted to move between departments and step into new roles has given me a well‑rounded understanding of how the company operates and how each team contributes to the bigger picture.  What have you enjoyed most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team?    What I love most about being on the Hillberg & Berk team is the people. I’ve had the chance to work with so many supportive, talented, and passionate individuals who genuinely care about their work and about each other. No matter which department I’ve been part of, I’ve always felt like I was surrounded by teammates who encourage growth, celebrate wins, and show up for one another.  The relationships I’ve built here have played a huge role in why I’ve stayed—and why I’m excited to continue contributing to the work we do together.  What advice would you give to someone considering a career at Hillberg & Berk?   Be open to new opportunities and don’t be afraid to step outside your comfort zone. Hillberg & Berk is a place where your strengths are noticed, your ideas are valued, and your role can grow in ways you might not expect. If you’re curious, collaborative, and excited to learn, you’ll thrive here.  What is your favorite memory from working with Hillberg & Berk?    My favourite memories are from opening new Hillberg & Berk stores (I've been directly involved with about 6 and counting so far!). There’s something incredibly special about seeing a project go from an empty space to a fully built, sparkling store.  It’s also incredibly energizing to work with a new team during these openings. You get to hear their passion for why they joined the brand and share your "why" as well. It is so fun sharing in their excitement as they prepare to connect with clients for the first time!
